Finally got a personal highlight open. The Wilka 1400 wirh custom keyway. Actually my 3rd Lock after the Abus C-Series.

Really nasty keyway for a beginner! It also took me a while to understand that the pins are somehow embedded in holes (at least that is what it feels like). So I had to press very deeply with the medium hook to get into false set. Took me about an hour. Now very happy!

Can I request a belt somewhere? :)

…that’s the best way to describe what’s been happening to me lately. I don’t have rich parents so I learned how to value every single dollar I made. I didn’t buy things unless I absolutely needed them, and even then, I’d rather wait for a sale. I was frugal and it became a habit I was proud of. Got a corporate job then earned a decent salary. I learned how to save and invest. I also started a business that eventually paid the bills. My investments were paying off, and for the first time, I felt financially secure. But over time, I got too comfortable. I stopped checking price tags like a one-day millionaire. Whenever I went grocery shopping, I’d just grab whatever looked good. No list, no plan—just whatever caught my eye. And every single time, the total at checkout caught me completely off guard. Like how did I even spend that much lol 😅 It’s not like I couldn’t afford it, but I started feeling disconnected from how I used to handle money. I wasn’t as intentional anymore… My younger self would probably be disappointed, and I’m trying to get back to that mindset now, little by little. Anyone else feel like this? Like you’ve lost touch with the way you used to handle money? I’d love to hear how you’re managing it.

Arma Reforger - 13900K Host/14900K Host Crashes

Hey all, I'm trying to figure out server side crashes in Arma Reforger. I noticed W.C.S Official I think uses the 13900K/14900K from AWN. I've noticed this game is more sensitive to CPU/RAM stability than OCCT. So I do wonder if those two SKU's are probably the worst CPU's to host Arma Reforger with. I started my own server on a 9800X3D, without FPS cap it's hauling 2300FPS server-side. I don't know what Intel gets, but I think the L3 these things have are just a godsend and massive performance booster for milsim/sim genre games. The L3 is so good, I can run 128 players perfectly fine on 2 cores with 30% execution cap. I rarely crash server-side and I host WCS, so it made me wonder. I don't know if Dev's are hardware people, but those two CPU's absolutely suck for Arma. I'd probably give it a week from new until Arma crashes with it imo. Not a knock on the host or devs, I don't even think there's X3D based servers because host companies would prefer just running extra cores and replacing the CPU every few months. Not a good strategy for a barely stable modded game.

Hello everyone! Lately I’ve been having a hard time…expressing my emotions/trying to cry. I don’t often cry but when i feel like i do, i try to express that emotion so that i can feel much better because it is much healthier that way. Lately i’ve been feeling that way, but when i try to, the feeling of wanting to cry or the sadness goes away….and i’m not sure what to do as it frustrates me and makes me question a lot. What is this? And why is it happening? What should i do..? Etc…Thank you.

We have started trying to build our home back after Helene Damage. It's very slow going. Due to budget, resources, etc. Hubby and I are having to do what we can...so this is our doors going outside from our laundry room. It's literally all we have at the moment to secure our home. The problem is hubby's not a carpenter by sny stretch of the imagination but does what he can. We are freezing in here. How can we block the gaps around this door? We have blankets hung but this isn't really helping especially since we have to come and go from the door only for the time being. Mainly concerned about the door on the left. The right stays latched and we've already weather stripped it which wasn't an issue since we don't open and close it. Tried to show how you can see outside thru the gap with the pics...not sure if that turned out right or not though. Sooo...any suggestions? Again these are just temporary and we are aware we need professionals. Just trying to make do and not freeze using what we have at the moment.

Smoking Brisket in super cold weather - anyone ever done it?

Hi, I was planning to smoke a brisket but it's been so cold this week. But I don't want to set myself up for a 25-hour cook! Does anyone have any experience smoking brisket in cold weather? I was going to add a bowl of water in the smoker to keep the humidity up, because the air is so dry. I was also thinking of maybe bringing it inside after I wrap, and finish it in the oven? Any tips?
